Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on Reimbursement Agreement between Tax Reinvestment Zone Number One (TIRZ#1), the City of Leander, Texas (City) and Williamson County (County) to reimburse the County for construction of a portion of San Gabriel Parkway from US Hwy 183 to the western boundary of TIRZ#1.

The concept and agreement to participate in the Leander Tax Reinvestment Zone Number One (TIRZ #1) took place prior to Commissioner Long being sworn into her seat on the Commissioners Court.  The details of participation in the TIRZ were negotiated and the finalized TIRZ agreement was approved by the Commissioners Court on August 19, 2008.  This Reimbursement Agreement allows the County to receive Annual County Reimbursement payments for the construction of San Gabriel Parkway from US Hwy 183 to the western boundary of TIRZ #1.  The County is eligible to receive up to $4.7M for the construction of the roadway.  The County's Annual Reimbursement amount will be calculated annually, after Priority Projects #'s 1 - 7 (Exhibit A) have been made. Charlie Crossfield worked with the City of Leander attorney to draft the agreement.  The City of Leander City Council approved the agreement on Tuesday, July 9th.  A signed copy is attached and three originals will be submitted to the County Judge's Office.
