Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding a Supplemental to the Standard Utility Agreement with Pedernales Electric Cooperative (PEC) for utility adjustments on the CR 279 (Bagdad Road) at River Ranch Park project, a Road Bond project in Commissioner Pct. 2.

This supplemental agreement is necessary to reimburse PEC an additional $70,539.92 for costs incurred due to additional design  and construction work for revised construction phasing and right-of-way (ROW) constraints. PEC worked with the adjacent developer regarding vegetation clearing and pole placement, but was unable to secure easements for guy wires. Three (3) additional self-supporting poles were required in order to relocate PEC along the ROW without down guy wires. The actual cost of the relocation is increased by $120,932.49 to a new total of $245,168.05. PEC is 58.33% eligible for reimbursement. The reimbursement to PEC by the County is increased by $70,539.92 to a total cost of $143,006.52 (58.33% of $245,168.05).
