Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on authorizing the Purchasing Agent to advertise and receive sealed Proposals for Haz Mat Billing Software, under RFP 2246.
Background
Williamson County is soliciting proposals from firms interested in providing HazMat billing software for the county to utilize. This will allow the department to track equipment and supplies used on a Hazmat incident and to quickly submit the bill to the responsible party so the department can receive reimbursement to help recover costs incurred by the County. The county previously solicited proposals under RFP 2108 HazMat Billing Software but received no offers. The point of contact is Marty Herrin and Funding Source: N/A as this is a revenue generating account.
