Discuss, consider and take appropriate action to enact Williamson County Park Rules and Regulations. House Bill 510, which became effective September 1, 2019, amended the Local Government Code to authorize Williamson County to enact park use rules, the violation of which constitutes a Class C misdemeanor.

House Bill 510, which became effective September 1, 2019, amended the Local Government Code to authorize Williamson County to enact park use rules, the violation of which constitutes a Class C misdemeanor.  These rules have been reviewed by the Williamson County Attorney's Office.  They have also been distributed to each Justice of the Peace, Constable and the Sheriff's Department for their review and awareness.  Once enacted, the rules will be posted on the Parks Department webpage.
