Discuss, consider, and take action on the approval of Team Rubicon performing a fire mitigation project at Cat Creek Preserve.
Background
Team Rubicon, Inc. is a 5013(c) organization that is volunteering to mitigate the fire potential for Cat Creek Preserve. Cat Creek Preserve was identified in the Williamson County Community Wildfire Protection Plan that borders the Woodland Park and Sun City subdivisions. Team Rubicon will construct a 50-foot-wide shaded fuel break at no cost to the county and Team Rubicon will be able to certify their volunteers in operating a chain saw.
