Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an Interlocal Agreement between Williamson County and the City of Coupland for a Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance.
Background
The City of Coupland will adopt a Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance consistent with and substantially the same as Williamson County’s. Upon adoption of the Ordinance, the Floodplain Administrator of the City of Coupland will appoint the County Engineer of Williamson County or his successor as the City of Coupland Floodplain Administrator. Any and all fees for inspections and/or licenses will be paid directly to the County, and the City agrees to pay the County any remaining expenses associated with enforcement of the Ordinance.
