Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving two proposals between Motorola Solutions, INC and Williamson County for Geo-Redundant Simulcast Prime Project in the amount of $ 1,893,294.00 and the Cedar Park Generator Replacement Project in the amount of $130,110.00 pursuant to DIR Contract DIR-TSO-4101 and authorizing the execution of the agreements.  The Generator replacement will be funded from 01-0507-0507-005000 Capital Outlay, and the Redundant Prime site is funded by Capital Project P529.

The Geoprime site is to create the site redundancy in the Williamson County Radio Network in the event of a Prime Tower Site failure and the Cedar Park generator replacement is replacing a Tower generator in accordance with life expectancy utilizing the DIR Cooperative contract Number DIR-TSO-4101 for both projects. Both Proposals contain materials that have been marked as proprietary and/or confidential and will be disseminated, by secure measures, to the commissioners’ court.  Thomas Piche is the point of contact for this transaction. The Generator replacement will be funded from 01-0507-0507-005000 Capital Outlay, and the Redundant Prime site is a capital project P529. Funding was approved in the FY2020 budget.
