Discuss, consider and take appropriate action ratifying a Letter of Authorization between Williamson County and AT&T Corp. relating to the porting of telephone lines.

This form is authorization for AT&T to move phone numbers from Frontier to AT&T on our behalf. This is part of our transition to the new SIP service connection to the phone companies to save the County money. The numbers listed are the last numbers to be “ported” to AT&T SIP service.  AT&T notified Technology Services that our previous authorization had expired and a new LOA was required in order to complete the transition.  The LOA was presented to the County Judge for signature on 1/9/20 as time was of the essence.  This agenda item allows for ratification by the Commissioners Court and recordation into the minutes.  There is no financial commitment directly associated with this document, only authorization to proceed on behalf of Williamson County.  Point of contact is Richard Semple.
