Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on accepting and approving a report on the Williamson County Jail Renovations FY 2019 Project (P-411); Change Order #05 in the amount of $29,514.00 to approve funding from within the existing contract for Intercom Hardware, which was executed by Tom Stanfield, Williamson County Facilities Project Manager, pursuant to the previous grant of authority under Section 262.031 of the Local Government Code. This change order was funded by Project Contingency.
Background
This change order was to provide and install additional needed Intercom Head-End Equipment in North Jail. On April 16, 2019, the Williamson County Commissioners Court granted Tom Stanfield, Williamson County Facilities Project Manager, with general authority to approve change orders for the Agreement for Construction Services with J. T. Vaughn Construction, LLC in relation to the Williamson County Jail Renovations FY 2019 – P-411 Project for any increase in costs up to a total maximum amount of $30,000.00 in accordance with Section 262.031 of the Local Government Code – Changes in Plans and Specifications. This report is being provided for purposes of notifying the court of such change order and to place it in the minutes of the Commissioners Court.
