Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on the Jail Renovations Project P411, Change Order No. 7 from JT Vaughn Construction in the amount of $18,304.00 to approve Electrical/LED Lighting Upgrade Services which was executed by Tom Stanfield, Williamson County Facilities Project Manager, pursuant to the previous grant of authority under Section 262.031 of the Local Government Code.  This change order is being funded by the Project Contingency.

Background

Change Order to approve funding from within the existing project funds for installation of LED Lighting Upgrades in various locations of 1st Floor North Tower.  This will complete the lighting fixture upgrade in this area of the Jail with the exception of the space that is designated for a potential Pre-Trial Services remodel On April 16, 2019, the Williamson County Commissioners Court granted Tom Stanfield, Williamson County Facilities Project Manager, with general authority to approve change orders for the Agreement for Construction Services with J. T. Vaughn Construction, LLC in relation to the Williamson County Jail Renovations FY 2019 – P-411 Project for any increase in costs up to a total maximum amount of $30,000.00 in accordance with Section 262.031 of the Local Government Code – Changes in Plans and Specifications. This report is being provided for purposes of notifying the court of such change order and to place it in the minutes of the Commissioners Court.
