Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on awarding RFP #2855 Fire & Safety, Inspection, Testing and Maintenance to the overall best respondent Impact Fire Services, LLC. and authorizing execution of the agreement.

Background

Purchasing solicited sealed proposals for Fire & Safety, Inspection, Testing and Maintenance. 11 suppliers participated in the RFP of which 5 submitted a response. 1 response was determined to be non-responsive. After evaluation of the 4 responsive submittals, it was determined that interviews would be held with 2 of the suppliers. After the interview phase, it was determined that Impact Fire Services submitted the best value response. The total amount of this contract will be $65,384.00 per year for an initial 2 year term with 4 additional annual renewal options. Department point of contact is Shantil Moore. Funding source is 01.0100.0509.004500 (Testing) & 01.0100.0509.004510 (Maintenance & Repair) and was budgeted for FY20.
