Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on exempting the Navy Electro-Optic Loan program from the competitive bid/proposal requirements of the County Purchasing Act pursuant to the discretionary exemption as set forth under Texas Local Government Code Section 262.024.(a)(2) for the 12-month loan of equipment in the amount of $6,600.
Background
This exemption will support the public health and safety operations of the Williamson County Sheriff's Office. Attached is the original agreement that was approved by commissioners court on 1/28/2019. This expenditure will be charged to seized funds 01.0410.0413.004999. Technical contact is Chief Tim Ryle.
