Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on authorizing the Purchasing Agent to advertise and receive sealed proposals for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the Williamson County Child Advocacy Center Annex under RFP #T915. Funding source P530.
Background
Williamson County is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for Williamson County Child Advocacy Center Annex.
Williamson County intends to construct a new, approximately two-story 15,000 SF total building space to expand the operations and essential services provided by the Williamson County Child Advocacy Center. The proposed location for the facility will be Georgetown, TX. The estimated budget for Project is $4,200,000.00. The Project also includes all utilities, drainage, parking, roadways, landscaping and walkways necessary to complete the Project. The Construction Manager-at-Risk responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the guaranteed maximum price estimate, the Project construction schedule, coordination of building trades on site, quality assurance and overall construction sequencing. The overall goal of the Project is to have an operational facility by the end of March 2022. Department point of contact is Tom Stanfield. Funding source P530.
