Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the Wilco Forward Phase III Community Services terms of agreement between Williamson County and The Caring Place, The Salvation Army and Round Rock Serving Center in relation to the Wilco Forward Grant Program that is funded through the CARES Act for response to the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic; and, further, authorize the presiding officer of the Williamson County Commissioners Court to execute agreements containing the terms of agreement with the Caring Place, Salvation Army and Round Rock Serving Center.
Background
In order to begin rent and utility assistance using CARES Act funds for Phase III as soon as possible for those in need in Wilco, we are presenting the agreement terms with the three agencies involved. Signed agreements will be included on the July 28, 2020 agenda.
