Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding approval and receipt of the Standard Agreement with Highlands at Mayfield Ranch Municipal Utility District regarding off duty contracting of County Sheriff Deputies to be effective October 1, 2020.
Background
This renewal agreement gives permission for Highlands at Mayfield Ranch MUD to contract County Sheriff Deputies in a private capacity and the County to invoice Highlands at Mayfield Ranch MUD for deputies' vehicle usage. The term of this agreement shall begin on October 1, 2020 and will have two additional one year automatic renewals on October 1, 2021 and October 1, 2022. The agreement will be revisited with proper approvals from the Commissioners Court for October 1, 2023 (FY'2024).
