Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving Williamson County EMS Community Health Paramedics to participate with the Williamson County and Cities Health District in the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) Building Local Operational Capacity for COVID-19 grant.

WCCHD was awarded the NACCHO Building Local Operational Capacity for COVID-19 grant.  WCCHD would like to partner with Williamson County EMS CHP personnel to assist in developing community infection control plans, building and development of tools to be used for infection control in facilities, performing infection control assessments, and training health district volunteers to perform infection control assessments with facilities.  WCCHD would utilize $47,000 of grant funding to contract with Williamson County for the CHP services outlined.  WCCHD would be responsible for all reporting to NACCHO.  Department contact – Mike Knipstein or Amy Jarosek.
