Background

This Change Order adds time (52 days) to the contract for the construction of the new Animal Shelter driveway (refer to Change Order #3). The Contractor demobilized from the project while the new plans were being finalized for the Animal Shelter Driveway. Instead of paying them for the standby time for their equipment and labor, it was agreed that the Contractor could go work on other projects and remobilize back to the project at a later date. By the time they remobilized and finished the Animal Shelter Driveway work it ended up taking an additional 52 days. This is in addition to the 90 days added in Change Order #3.
