Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on an order declaring an emergency and grave necessity due to unforeseeable circumstances to approve a budget amendment acknowledging additional expenditures to the General Fund.
Background
Two new Sheriff's Office vehicles were delivered by the outfitting company (who is paid by Holiday) and vehicles were subsequently not outfitted correctly and, therefore, sent back. As a result, the Auditor's Office cannot pay for the invoice out of the old year (FY20) nor process payment until the vehicle has been outfitted correctly, delivered back to the county and put into service.
