Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving an Interlocal Agreement between Williamson County and Hutto ISD Police Department for the sale of body armor in the amount of $100 and authorizing the execution of the agreement.
Background
A Williamson County Sheriff's Deputy is leaving the County and will be employed by Hutto ISD PD. Hutto ISD PD has asked to purchase her body armor from Williamson County. Body armor is fitted to each officer and purchasing new body armor is not as cost effective as selling a current one that fits. After the purchase has been made, the county no longer assumes warranty for the body armor. See attached ILA agreement.
