| Discuss, consider and take appropriate action regarding approval of an inter-local agreement with the Sheriff's Association of Texas Procurement Program for Williamson County's participation in a cooperative purchasing program and authorizing execution of the agreement. |
Background
Due to the current Defender contract expiring with Tarrant County Purchasing Cooperative, a new avenue had to be found for upfitting vehicles. The Sheriff's Association of Texas Procurement Program is another tool for the County to utilize for the procurement of vehicles as well as upfitting options.
