Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a Second Amendment to that Certain Restated and Amended Professional Services Agreement For Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) Testing, between Williamson County, Texas and Family Emergency Room, LLC and exempting the procurement of such services from the competitive bidding requirements pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemption 262.024(a)(2) - an item necessary to preserve the health and safety of the residents of Williamson County.
Background
Due to increased testing in Williamson County and to continue testing until December 30, 2020, it has become necessary to amend the current agreement with Family Emergency Room, LLC an additional time in order to add $100,000.00 of funding to the current not to exceed funding amount of $450,000.00 for a new total not to exceed funding amount of $550,000.00.
