Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFP T3931 Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for Expo Center- Various Projects to Chasco Constructors, Ltd, LLC and authorize the execution of the agreement between Williamson County and the CMAR. Funding source is P562.
Background
Williamson County solicited a one-step method, request for sealed proposals for various projects at the Expo Center, including but not limited to construction of the South Event Tarmac, widening of the Main Arena to increasing performance area, construction of new West Arena, add pavilions, infrastructure upgrade, and reconstruction of existing Expo Center Hall roof. 16 Suppliers participated with 4 suppliers submitting responses. One vendor withdrew their submission. The firms were evaluated and Chasco Constructors, ltd, LLC was the overall highest-rated through negotiation and is recommended we move forward with negotiations. The Point of Contact is Angel Gomez. Estimated Budget: $5.9M
