Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving Specific Malpractice Insurance Coverage under RFP Contract #1904-308, through Lee Insurance Agency for Williamson County EMS from FirstFire Services under Intact Insurance Specialty Services for the annual premium of $22,960.00.
Background
EMS received a new proposal from their current carrier to continue coverage. Additionally, a quote was obtained as a part of the County’s casualty coverage program. FirstFire Services under Intact Insurance Specialty Services offered three years at a fixed premium at a lower rate than the current carrier. As a result, the recommendation is to accept the coverage quoted for FY22 by FirstFire Services for EMS workers, in the amount of $22,960.00 for the annual premium.
