Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on a request for the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter to apply for a grant to aid in the care of shelter kittens from the Orphan Kitten Club.
Background
During the months of spring through early fall, the Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter receives an increased number of cats and kittens. This particular grant, if awarded, would provide increased medical diagnostics for young kittens and temporary, seasonal help to care for the cats and kittens. If awarded in full, this grant would fund $25,000 worth of diagnostics and care.
