Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving insurance coverage request and quote for four (4) fuel tanks through AIG Environmental TankGuard Program for Pollution Liability Insurance with an annual premium of $955 and Terrorism Insurance coverage for an additional $90 per year to support operations of the Fleet Department and authorizing acceptance and signature of the quote.
Background
This is a recurring annual insurance policy that is required for the County's underground fuel storage tanks. Policy funding is budgeted annually. FY 22 annual premium total is $1,045 per the attached proposal. Issuing this insurance is a two-step agenda posting process. The warranty letter, step one, was submitted to agenda and approved by Commissioner's Court on 10/5/2021. The attached quote is step two of the process. Legal, contract audit and budget have reviewed this purchase. Fleet Services Department point of contact is Kevin Teller. The funding source is 0882.0882.004416.
