Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the service contract between Williamson County and Spectrum Enterprise to provide internet service to the Taylor Annex in the amount of $1,199.00 per month and exempting the item from competitive bidding requirements as per Texas Local Govt. Code Discretionary Exemption 262.024(a)(7)(C) electric power, gas, water, and other utility services; and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
This agreement is for internet service at the Taylor Annex located at 412 Vance St., Taylor TX 76574. Agreement is for a period of 36 months at a rate of $1,199.00 per month for fiber internet 500Mbps. IT, legal, contract audit, and budget have reviewed this purchase. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.0503.004210. Department contact is Richard Semple.
