Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of Rubrik software and support renewal from Free It Data Solutions in the amount of $58,991.29, pursuant to DIR cooperative contract # DIR-TSO-3944.
Background
Approval of this renewal will support the operations of the Williamson County IT Department as a provider of data backup and recovery for virtual and physical environments. Renewal quote is attached that outlines the software and support components to be renewed. Original agreement was approved by commissioners court on 2/5/2019 for a term of 36 months. This is the second renewal to cover a period from 1/31/2022-1/30/2023. IT, legal, contract audit and budget have reviewed this purchase. Department contact is Richard Semple. This expenditure will be charged to FY22 01.0100.0503.004500.
