Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the service contract between Williamson County and Spectrum Enterprise to provide internet service at the new Community Supervision & Corrections Department (CSCD) location in Liberty Hill in the amount of $1,140.00 per month and exempting the item from competitive bidding requirements as per Texas Local Govt. Code Discretionary Exemption 262.024(a)(7)(C) electric power, gas, water, and other utility services; and authorizing execution of the agreement.
Background
This agreement is for internet service at the Liberty Hill CSCD building located at 3803 Ranch Road 1869, Liberty Hill TX 78642. Agreement is for a period of 36 months at a rate of $1,140.00 per month for fiber internet 200Mbps. IT, legal, contract audit, and budget have reviewed this purchase. Department contact is Richard Semple. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.0503.004210.
