Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving a business associate agreement (BAA) between Williamson County and The University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work.
Background
This BAA would allow Williamson County EMS to share data with The University of Texas at Austin School of Social Work to aid in the development of an EMS/fire reporting system related to overdose events. Project Connect is a project to improve overdose tracking and prevention efforts across Texas. The project is developing a platform tailored to first responders. BAA has been reviewed by WilCo legal.
