Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving an agreement between Williamson County and Links Communications, Inc. for the installation of new data outlets and cables in the Lott Center, in the amount of $5,322.00; exempting the procurement of such services from the competitive bidding requirements pursuant to Texas Local Government Code Discretionary Exemption 262.024(a)(2) an item necessary to preserve the health and safety of the residents of Williamson County, and authorize the County Judge to execute all associated documents.
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations and renovation at the Lott Center. Proposal is attached outlining the work to be done. Links communications will install new data outlets, cabling, and new rack and patch panels. Legal has reviewed this proposal. CARES Act funds shall be used for this project as previously approved. The department point of contact is Chris Ball. The budgeted, not to exceed amount is $5,332.00.
