Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of VMware Carbon Black Cloud software subscription from Presidio in the amount of $21,080.36, pursuant to DIR contract #DIR-TSO-3926, and authorizing execution of the quote.
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations Williamson County. Quote from Presidio for 28 licenses is attached for the VMware Carbon Black Cloud Workload Enterprise subscription. This software subscription provides consistent security on systems running in virtualized environments with prioritized vulnerability reporting with industry-leading prevention, detection, and response capabilities. Subscription is for one (1) year. IT, legal, contract audit and budget have reviewed this purchase. This expenditure will be charged to FY22 01.0100.0503.003011. Department contact is Richard Semple.
