Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the Guaranteed Maximum Price Proposal (GMP) with awarded RFP T915 Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR), J.T.Vaughn Construction, LLC, for the construction of Williamson County Child Advocacy Center Annex, in the amount of $7,739,072.00 with an Owner's Contingency in the amount of $773,910.00; and authorize the execution of the GMP between Williamson County and J.T.Vaughn Construction, LLC (The funding source is P530 and ARPA Funds).
Background
Williamson County intends to construct a new, approximately two-story 15,000 SF total building space to expand the operations and essential services provided by the Williamson County Child Advocacy Center. The proposed location for the facility will be Georgetown, TX. The Project also includes all utilities, drainage, parking, roadways, landscaping and walkways necessary to complete the Project. The Construction Manager-at-Risk responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the guaranteed maximum price estimate, the Project construction schedule, coordination of building trades on site, quality assurance and overall construction sequencing. The Department Point of Contact is Tom Stanfield.
