Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving a Contract Amendment No. 1 to Contract for Construction Manager at Risk Project Delivery for Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center Addition by and between Williamson County and J.T. Vaughn Construction, LLC for the construction of Williamson County Child Advocacy Center Annex; and authorize the execution of the Contract Amendment No. 1.

Background

Due to the impacts of COVID-19, construction costs have increased since the execution of the Contract for Construction Manager at Risk Project Delivery and the County and CMAR now would like to increase the “CMAR’s Fee” under Section 5.1.1 of the Contract from the original amount of $663,370.00 to the increased amount of $851,325.00, as well as add an exhibit required due to ARPA funding.
