Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on awarding RFP #21IFB24 for Bulk Fuel to the overall lowest best value bidder, Pinnacle Petroleum, Inc.
Background
Approval of this item will support the operations of the Williamson County Fleet Department. Purchasing solicited sealed bids for bulk fuel. Five Hundred Fifty-Seven (557) vendors were notified of the solicitation, Twenty-two (22) vendors downloaded the documents, seven (7) bids were received. After review and evaluation of the bids, it was determined that Pinnacle Petroleum, Inc. would provide the best value for the County for the three delivery categories; tankwagon, generator and transport truck. This award structure is designed for a one-vendor award. Thus, the Fleet Department has recommended that 21IFB24 for Bulk Fuel be awarded to Pinnacle Petroleum, Inc. Funding for this expenditure will be charged to 0882.0882.003301. $1.2 million has been budgeted for fuel in the FY22 budget. Fuel is purchased as needed. Department contact is Kevin Teller.
