Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding RFQ #21RFSQ27 Engineering Services for Corridor J from US183 to IH35 to WSB & Associates (Funding Source P584), Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc (Funding source P585), and Halff Associates, Inc. (Funding Source P586) to provide engineering services to assist Williamson County staff in the development of schematics and possible design of Corridor J from US 183 to IH 35 and authorizing the execution of the agreements.
Background
The Purchasing Department solicited sealed statements of qualifications. Over 3900 notifications were sent out of which 20 firms submitted responses. The responses were evaluated by an evaluation committee. The attached contracts are to provide engineering services to assist Williamson County staff in the development of schematics and possible design of Corridor J from US 183 to IH 35. Three firms are recommended to provide services for the project.
WSB- The attached WSB & Associates, Inc. contract to provide professional engineering design and planning services for the Corridor J, Segment 1 project from IH35 to west of FM2843 including an overpass/interchange at FM2843 as well as setting the design criteria and evaluation criteria for the entire length of Corridor J from IH35 to SH183 with a Compensation Cap of $2,898,000.00 as part of the LTP Corridor Program has been reviewed and approved for Commissioners Court consideration by the GEC Team. KHA- The attached Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc. contract to provide professional engineering design and planning services for the Corridor J, Segment 2 project from west of FM2843 to east of SH195 with a Compensation Cap of $1,068,000.00 as part of the LTP Corridor Program has been reviewed and approved for Commissioners Court consideration by the GEC Team. Halff- The attached Halff & Associates, Inc. contract to provide professional engineering design and planning services for the Corridor J, Segment 3 project from east of SH 195, including interchange, to SH 183, including interchange with a Compensation Cap of $2,135,000.00 as part of the LTP Corridor Program has been reviewed and approved for Commissioners Court consideration by the GEC Team.
