Discuss, consider and approve the final budget of $208,415 from the ARPA Funding (American Rescue Plan Act) for Project 445P Mental Health Court Surge.
Background
January 18, 2022 under Item 17 the court approved the use of ARPA funds not to exceed $250,000 for the use of Visiting Judge and Visiting Court Reporter to assist with the surge in Mental Health hearings. This is bringing back the final budget for the Commisioners Courts approval. A Visiting Judge and Visiting Court Reporter are considered contract labor. Judge McMaster will utilize this funding during 2022 and 2023 to assist with the mental health docket. The total is $208,415.
