Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of Oracle Enterprise Database License Upgrade from Mythics, Inc. in the amount of $112,800.83, pursuant to DIR contract #DIR-TSO-4158, and authorizing execution of the estimate.
Background
Approval of this item will support offices County-wide. The purchase of the Oracle Database Enterprise License is being made on recommendation of Oracle and Mythics, Inc. After an informal audit of our existing Oracle E-Business Suite architecture it was found that the Database Standard Edition licenses that are currently in place are invalid and need to be replaced with the Enterprise Edition Database licenses. The estimate is attached that includes a breakdown of the total cost. This expenditure will be charged to 01.0100.0503.005741 ($92,459.70), 01.0100.0503.004505 ($20,341.13).
