Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on a policy exception for EMS to move salary surplus dollars to PCN 0799.
Background
This is a request for an exception to the Compensation – Position Salary Surplus policy. PCN 0799 is resigning from EMS effective 3/9/2022. Movement of funds would facilitate an internal promotion to fill an open Lieutenant position. The movement occurs after February 15th. There is no change in overall budget. Situation has been discussed with human resources and budget office.
