Background
The Purchasing Department solicited bids for Tradesman's Industrial and Business Park Milling and Overlay Project. Two-Hundred Seventy-Three (273) suppliers were invited to bid of which Nineteen (19) suppliers viewed the bid documents and two (2) suppliers responded. Texas Materials Group, Inc. was determined to be the lowest responsive bidder. Staff is recommending award to Texas Materials Group, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $1,025,782.63. Funds are budgeted in the FY 22 funding source 01.0200.0210.003599. The Road and Bridge Department point of contact is Terron Evertson.
