Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on four Lease Agreements between the Williamson County and Cities Health District (WCCHD) and Williamson County, Texas relating to the establishment, maintenance, operation and use by the District of the County’s facilities located at 355 Texas Ave, Round Rock, TX; 115 W 6th St. Taylor, TX; 100 W. 3rd St. Georgetown, TX; and 350 Discovery Blvd #102 Cedar Park, TX.
Background
The Commissioners Court approved License Agreements for each of these properties at its October 19, 2021 session. These agreements are necessary for the WCCHD to file applications with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy for conducting pharmacy related services. The Texas State Board of Pharmacy took issue with the use of the term “License” and requested that it be changed to “Lease”. The four new “Lease Agreements” incorporate the term “Lease” in place of “License” and these agreements will supplant and replace the prior License Agreements that were approved and executed after the October 19, 2021 session.
