Discuss, consider, and take action on OEM withdrawing from the Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) for the current and future fiscal year.

Background

OEM has routinely applied for EMPG funding to help offset the cost of the department. Funds are now being withheld at the state to fund new state County Liaison Officers (CLO) that are designed to support emergency management offices.
