Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on approving the proposal between Williamson County and BryComm, LLC for fiber installation and a closet build out at the Old DPS Building, for the not-to-exceed amount of $33,067.75, pursuant to DIR-CPO-4777 and authorizing the execution of the proposal. Funding Source is P537.

The approval of this proposal will benefit the Williamson County Sheriff's Office by terminating 96 strand fiber and 24 strand fiber and installing 288 strand fiber inside the communication room, located at the old DPS Building at 517 Pine Street, Georgetown, plus providing and installing a 19" Panduit rack, wire managers and ladder tray.  This project is part of the fiber ring in Georgetown that provides redundancy for fiber connectivity. This project also connects to the Lott Building. The attached proposal has a more detailed scope of work to be performed.  Legal, Contract Audit, IT and Budget have all reviewed this proposal. The Department point of contact is Rory Tierney.
