Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 3 in the amount of $20,307.20 for Project 22IFB39 CR 111 Westinghouse Rd. (Capital Excavation) P: 292 Funding Source: Road Bond.

Background

This Change Order revises the original plan quantity for the “Obliterating Abandoned Roadway” item. The quantity in the plans has been updated to reflect the existing conditions. The Engineer has revised the item quantity and plan sheets to include the updated quantity and locations of the obliteration areas.

This Change Order adjusts existing quantities, and no new items will be added per this Change Order.

This Change Order results in an increase of $20,307.20 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $21,285,557.92. The original Contract amount was $21,024,332.88. As a result of this and all Change Orders to date, $261,225.04 has been added to the Contract, resulting in an 1.24% net increase in the overall Contract cost. As a result of this Change Order, no (0) days have been added to the contract.
