Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action to approve the Agreement between Stryker Medical and Williamson County, in the amount of $9,630.15, for the LifeNet Asset Device Management System and exempt the purchase from the competitive bidding or proposal requirements through Local Government Code 262.024 (7)(D) Captive replacement parts or component for equipment, and authorizing the execution of the agreement.
Background
Williamson County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is requesting to enter into an agreement with Stryker Medical for an initial term of three (3) years, beginning from 08.01.2022 for their LifeNet Asset Device Management System. The platform is a HIPPA-compliant solution which facilitates the transfer of data to CODE-STAT for resuscitation procedures and transmits data from connected devices for asset management. The EMS Department currently utilizes Stryker equipment and requires this platform to better optimize that equipment. Total cost is $9,630.15 with funding source 01-0100-0540-004210.
