Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action regarding Change Order No. 12 in the amount of ($17,206.66) for Project 3866-Forest North Phase 3 Drainage Improvements (DeNucci Constructors) P: 225 Funding Source: Road Bond.

This Change Order provides the balancing for the overruns/underruns of Contract quantities on the project paid for by Williamson County. The overruns were a result of addressing field conditions not accounted for in the original plans. This Change Order corrects the number of mailboxes billed to the City of Austin (COA). The City of Austin was only responsible for relocating 9 mailboxes and the County was responsible for relocating 30 mailboxes.

This Change Order results in a net decrease of $17,206.66 to the Contract amount, for an adjusted Contract total of $5,017,393.15. The original Contract amount was $4,793,058.15. Due to all Change Orders to-date, $224,335.00 has been added to the Contract amount. Of the $224,335.00 added to the Contract, the City of Austin is responsible for $194,457.87, an increase of 11.03% to their participation amount for water line work. The County is responsible for the remaining $29,877.13, an increase of 0.62% to their participation amount, which includes storm sewer and other drainage related changes. Zero (0) additional days will be added to the Contract as a result of this Change Order.
