Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action on awarding IFB #22IFB125 Expo Center Fence Installation to the lowest and best bidder, Texas Fence LLC, in the amount of $56,314.00. Funding Source is P591.
Background
Williamson County sent out over two thousand (2000) notifications with twenty-six (26) document takers with four (4) submitting bids. The bids have been reviewed and the apparent low bidder, Texas Fence LLC, was found to be responsive and materially balanced. Their lowest bid of $56,314.00 was 1.2% lower than the engineers estimate. The bidding was competitive with the lowest two bidders being within 9.28% of each other. In addition to meeting the bid qualifications subject to being low bidder, Texas Fence LLC has successfully completed previous projects for Williamson County. Based on quality of work performed by Contractor and favorable working relationship with the County and its representatives it is recommended to award the Expo Center Fence Installation IFB #22IFB125 contract to Texas Fence LLC.
