Background
A request is being made to create a succession planning position for the Sheriff's Office. The current Financial Manager is leaving with a last day of 8/5/22. Because the Sheriff's Office salary line has vacancy dollars available, no leave funding is needed. To allow for shadowing for three days, 8/3/22 through 8/5/22, we are requesting a total of $1,205.30 (salary and fringe). The Financial Manager position reports directly to the Sheriff. This request is within policy as approved by the Commissioners Court.
