Discuss, consider, and take appropriate action of approving the agreement #202317 between ESRI and Williamson County for the Small Municipal and County Government Enterprise Agreement (SGEA), for a total of $495,000.00, for a three (3) year term, and exempting this purchase under the Texas Local Government Code Section 262.024(a)(7)(D) Discretionary Exemptions captive replacement parts or components for equipment.
Background
Williamson County GIS is looking for approval of the ESRI Small Municipal and County Government Enterprise Agreement (SGEA) for three (3) years that supports the ArcGIS platforms throughout the County. The approval of the SGEA will allow the continued County access to bulk ESRI term licenses as well as discounts on software not offered in the SGEA for the span of the agreement. This agreement provides an Enterprise Licensing Agreement for a bulk purchase price, which offers a better discount to the county. Legal, Contract Audit, and Budget have reviewed this agreement. Funding Source approved for FY2023: 01.100.503.4505. The Department point of contact is George Strebel.
