Williamson County sent out over five thousand (5,000) notifications with seventy-three (73) document takers and six (6) submitting bids. The bids have been reviewed and the apparent low bidder, Jordan Foster Construction LLC, was found to be responsive and materially balanced. Their lowest bid of $4,622,143.93 was 11.8% lower than the Engineers Estimate. The bidding was competitive with the lowest two bidders being within 5.5% of each other. In addition to meeting the bid qualifications subject to being low bidder, Jordan Foster Construction LLC, has completed previous projects for Williamson County. Based on the quality of work performed and favorable working relationship with Williamson County and its representatives, it is recommended to award the CR 404 at FM 973 Improvements and Signage IFB #23IFB6 contract to Jordan Foster Construction LLC.
