Information
Agenda Item
Discuss, consider and take appropriate action on approving the purchase of the PURVIS FSAS IP-based alerting systems for Williamson County EMS Stations from PURVIS Systems, Incorporated in the amount of $1,040,955.85 pursuant to HGACBuy Co-op Contract #EC07-20 through RFP #15RFP115, and authorizing execution of the addendum.
Background
Approval of this will support the operations of EMS stations across Williamson County. PURVIS automates the process of alerting fire and rescue personnel, enhances communications, and decrease response times. The PURVIS system was awarded and approved by Commissioner’s Court in February 2015 through RFP #15RFP115. Three firms responded to the solicitation and PURVIS was awarded. Additional components were added to the initial installation at later dates. Through that solicitation award, regional Fire Stations have also deployed the PURVIS alerting system. The quote is attached that outlines the different items to be purchased and installed in the EMS stations. IT, Legal, and Contract Audit have reviewed this purchase. This expenditure will be expensed to P570. Department contacts are Michael Moody and Janessa Stephens.
